Design:
With the help of this tool stuck wedges from keyways of shafts can be extracted easily and without damage
Use:
First adjust the clamping jaws to the width of the stuck wedge by turning the handle (1) and fully extend them to the stop by turning the knob (2). Then place the tongs and tighten the hand wheel to secure the jaw clamps on the wedge. Tightening the hand wheel activates the eccentric mechanism and pulls the wedge upwards out of the groove. To remove the extracted wedge from the forceps, open the clamping jaws by turning the hand wheel back to the initial position.
