Design: VARIO M42 / MARATHON M42 bi-metal, with wear-resistant tooth edges made of HSS M42 (approx. 68 - 69 HRC) high tooth tip hardness Variable tooth pitch means differing tooth distance within one toothing interval, which in turn means less vibrations and a greater application range Tooth shapes: Standard tooth, rake angle 0°, for short-chipping materials steels with high carbon content, cast iron workpieces with small cross-sections thin-walled profiles Claw tooth, rake angle positive, for universal use, especially for long-chipping, tough materials NF metals, construction steel, Q&T steel, stainless and acid-resistant steels and exotic alloys workpieces with large cross-sections (profiles, solid material)
