- form B closed
- with spiral point
- lapped, from M3 nitrided
- fine chipping due to increased number of blades and prolonged bevel 2.25 P
Use:
To machine rust and acid resistant steel, Q & T steel, case hardening steel etc. up to 1,200 N/mm² and aluminium alloys short-chipping.
The spiral point causes a free flow of the chips forward and a reduction in the average torque. Chip clogging in the holes is avoided. An improved surface quality in the cut threads and longer service life is achieved. All Dies used on machines must therefore be equipped with a spiral point.
