PRODUCT INFORMATION
Design and use:
- for removing broken bolts and screws
- complete with extractor, HSS tungsten carbide tipped spiral bits and bit guides for easy tapping of broken-off connectors, even deep inside of tapped bores.
- this version includes a torsion stud with 6 axial-grip cutters for transmission of maximal force
- one slip-on nut with fully broached inner profile, so the applied torque takes effect in the immediate vicinity of the break
Operation mode:
A small hole is drilled into the part to be removed, the this hole is drilled out to the size required for the appropriate torsion stud. In case the bolt or screw is protruding or situated deep within the tapped bore, the appropriate bit guide is placed on the broken-off part and the drilling is performed through the guide. Then the torsion stud is pound into the bore and the fitting internal nut is installed. By counter-clockwise rotation the broken piece is screwed out
